TERMS OF USE

EDCAS – Powered by EdLogica

Draft Date: 16 October 2026

Welcome to EDCAS

Welcome to EDCAS, an international student recruitment and application management platform operated by EdLogica LLC.

These Terms of Use explain the conditions under which individuals, recruitment agencies, educational consultants, institutions, and authorised representatives may access and use our website and services.

Our aim is to provide a reliable platform that helps education professionals manage student recruitment, explore study opportunities, submit applications, and communicate effectively throughout the admission process.

By accessing our website, registering an account, or using any EDCAS service, you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy.

Please read these terms carefully. If you do not agree with any part of them, you should not use the platform.

1. ABOUT EDCAS

EDCAS is a business-to-business platform developed to simplify international student recruitment and admission management.

Through EDCAS, authorised users can explore educational opportunities, review university and course information, assess student eligibility, manage student profiles, submit applications, and monitor application progress.

The platform also provides tools and resources that support communication, partner collaboration, and day-to-day recruitment activities.

EDCAS acts as a technology and recruitment support platform connecting education consultants, students, and educational institutions.

While we work to make the admission process more efficient, final admission decisions remain with the respective educational institutions.

Access to certain services or features may depend on your account permissions, partnership arrangements, and the availability of those services.

2. WHO CAN USE EDCAS?

EDCAS is primarily intended for authorised education recruitment professionals, partner agencies, educational institutions, and their designated team members.

To access restricted areas of the platform, users must complete the applicable registration and account approval process.

By registering or using an EDCAS account, you confirm that:

  • You are at least 18 years old and legally capable of accepting these terms.
  • You are providing accurate and complete registration information.
  • You are authorised to represent your organisation, where applicable.
  • You will use the platform only for legitimate educational recruitment and admission-related activities.
  • You will comply with applicable laws, institutional requirements, and EDCAS policies.

EDCAS reserves the right to review registration requests and approve or decline access where necessary to protect the platform, its users, and partner institutions.

3. ACCOUNT REGISTRATION AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Every registered user is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials.

Your account is intended for your authorised use and should not be shared with individuals who have not been granted access.

If your organisation requires access for additional employees or counsellors, those users should be added through the available account management process.

You are responsible for activities carried out through your account, except where they result from circumstances for which EDCAS is legally responsible.

Please notify our support team promptly if you become aware of unauthorised account access, suspicious activity, or a possible security issue.

We may require additional verification before processing sensitive account changes or restoring access.

4. STUDENT INFORMATION AND CONSENT

Protecting student information is an important part of how EDCAS operates.

Recruitment agencies and authorised users may be required to provide student details, academic records, identification documents, contact information, and other supporting documents during the application process.

Before entering or uploading student information, you must ensure that you have a lawful basis and any necessary permissions to collect, use, and share that information.

You must also ensure that the student understands that their information may be shared with EDCAS, the relevant educational institutions, and other authorised parties involved in processing the application.

All submitted information must be accurate, relevant, and provided for a legitimate purpose.

Users must not upload documents obtained without proper authorisation or submit information belonging to individuals who have not agreed to the relevant processing, unless another lawful basis applies.

Where information relates to a person under 18, additional legal requirements and appropriate parental or guardian authorisation may apply.

Such information must only be submitted where EDCAS has expressly agreed to support the relevant application and appropriate safeguards are in place.

EDCAS handles personal information in accordance with its Privacy Policy and applicable data protection requirements.

5. STUDENT APPLICATIONS AND ADMISSION PROCESSING

EDCAS provides facilities for authorised users to prepare, submit, and track student applications.

When submitting an application, you are responsible for ensuring that the information provided is complete, correct, and supported by genuine documents.

Applications must only be submitted with the student's knowledge and appropriate authorisation.

Submitting an application through EDCAS does not guarantee that it will be accepted, assessed within a particular timeframe, or approved by the institution.

Universities and other educational institutions retain responsibility for their admission requirements, application assessments, offers, and final admission decisions.

Institutions may request additional documents, conduct further assessments, or change their requirements during the admission process.

EDCAS may assist with communication and application follow-ups, but we cannot override an institution's admission policies or decisions.

Application limits, submission rules, and other operational requirements displayed within the platform must be followed.

6. UNIVERSITY INFORMATION AND ELIGIBILITY

EDCAS aims to provide useful and up-to-date information about universities, programmes, tuition fees, admission requirements, intakes, and available study opportunities.

However, educational institutions may revise their course information, admission criteria, fees, scholarship arrangements, and application deadlines without prior notice.

Although we take reasonable steps to maintain accurate information, EDCAS cannot guarantee that every detail displayed on the platform will remain unchanged.

Users should verify important information with the relevant institution before advising students or making financial commitments.

Eligibility checks and course recommendations available through EDCAS are intended to support initial decision-making.

They should not be treated as formal admission offers or guarantees of acceptance.

Similarly, EDCAS does not guarantee visa approval, scholarship awards, accommodation availability, or any other decision made by an external authority or service provider.

7. PROFESSIONAL CONDUCT AND RESPONSIBLE USE

We expect all EDCAS users to maintain professional standards when dealing with students, institutions, and other recruitment partners.

The platform must not be used to submit fraudulent documents, create misleading student profiles, provide false academic information, or make unauthorised applications.

Users must not attempt to access accounts, student records, or confidential information outside their assigned permissions.

Activities intended to interfere with the platform, compromise its security, extract data without authorisation, or disrupt other users are prohibited.

Automated access, scraping, or the use of external software to collect information from EDCAS is not permitted without written authorisation.

We may investigate suspected misuse and take appropriate action, including restricting access or suspending accounts.

Serious violations may be reported to relevant institutions or authorities where legally appropriate.

8. MARKETING MATERIALS AND COMMUNICATION

EDCAS may provide marketing resources, promotional content, university updates, email communication tools, and other materials to support authorised recruitment activities.

These resources are intended for legitimate educational marketing and student communication.

Partners are responsible for ensuring that their communications are accurate, lawful, and appropriate for their intended audience.

Where the platform permits the personalisation of marketing materials, partners may add their authorised business details and use the materials for permitted promotional purposes.

Users must not alter marketing content in ways that misrepresent university policies, admission guarantees, scholarships, tuition fees, or institutional relationships.

Any email, messaging, or promotional campaign must comply with applicable marketing, consent, privacy, and anti-spam requirements.

The availability of marketing materials does not automatically grant permission to use a university's name, logo, or branding outside the scope of the relevant authorisation.

EDCAS may remove or restrict promotional content that is inaccurate, misleading, unauthorised, or inconsistent with partner requirements.

9. FEES, PAYMENTS, AND PARTNER COMMISSIONS

Certain services, applications, or partnership arrangements may involve fees, payments, commissions, or other commercial terms.

Where applicable, these arrangements will be communicated through the relevant agreement, confirmed commercial terms, or authorised payment process.

Commission eligibility, payment schedules, deductions, and other financial arrangements are governed by the applicable agreement between the relevant parties.

Information displayed in financial summaries or commission-related areas of the platform is intended to help users track relevant transactions and payment records.

Such information may be subject to verification, adjustments, or reconciliation.

A commission displayed as expected, pending, or estimated should not be considered a guaranteed or immediately payable amount.

Any payment disputes or financial discrepancies should be raised through the appropriate EDCAS support or accounts channel.

10. PRIVACY AND DATA PROTECTION

We recognise that EDCAS users may handle confidential personal and educational information.

We are committed to applying reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information processed through our services.

Our Privacy Policy explains how personal information is collected, used, stored, shared, and protected, as well as the rights available to individuals under applicable data protection laws.

By using EDCAS, you acknowledge that personal information will be handled in accordance with that policy.

Recruitment partners and other users are also responsible for protecting information accessed through their accounts.

Student records and confidential documents must not be downloaded, shared, copied, or used for unrelated purposes without proper authorisation.

Information should only be disclosed to individuals or organisations that have a legitimate and lawful reason to receive it.

Where required, separate data processing or information-sharing agreements may apply between EDCAS and its partners.

11. CONFIDENTIALITY

During your use of EDCAS, you may have access to non-public business information, student records, recruitment arrangements, operational procedures, or institutional information.

Such information must be treated as confidential unless it has been made publicly available through an authorised source.

You must not disclose confidential information to unauthorised parties or use it for purposes unrelated to your permitted activities on the platform.

These responsibilities continue after your access to EDCAS ends, for as long as the information remains confidential.

EDCAS will likewise handle confidential information received from partners in accordance with applicable confidentiality obligations, privacy requirements, and contractual commitments.

Nothing in this section prevents disclosure where required by law or properly authorised by the information owner.

12. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY AND PLATFORM CONTENT

The EDCAS website, software, design, branding, platform features, and original content are owned by EdLogica LLC or used under appropriate licences.

Access to EDCAS does not transfer ownership of its technology, branding, or intellectual property to users.

You may use the platform and its resources only for the purposes permitted under these terms and your applicable partnership arrangements.

Copying, reproducing, distributing, modifying, reverse-engineering, or commercially exploiting EDCAS software or proprietary materials without permission is prohibited, except where permitted by applicable law.

Users retain their rights in information and documents they lawfully upload.

By submitting content through EDCAS, users grant the permissions reasonably necessary for EDCAS and authorised recipients to process, transmit, and use that content for the requested services, subject to applicable agreements and privacy requirements.

13. PLATFORM AVAILABILITY AND TECHNICAL SUPPORT

We work to keep EDCAS accessible, secure, and functioning reliably.

However, occasional interruptions may occur because of scheduled maintenance, technical updates, system improvements, internet connectivity issues, or circumstances outside our control.

We may introduce new features, modify existing functionality, or discontinue services where necessary for operational, security, or business reasons.

Where a significant change affects regular platform use, we will make reasonable efforts to communicate it in advance when practical.

Although we aim to resolve reported problems promptly, uninterrupted or error-free access cannot be guaranteed.

Users experiencing technical difficulties are encouraged to contact our support team with sufficient information to help investigate the issue.

14. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES AND EXTERNAL WEBSITES

EDCAS may contain information, links, integrations, or services provided by universities and other independent organisations.

These third parties operate under their own policies, requirements, and terms.

We do not control every aspect of their websites, systems, services, or decisions.

When users access an external service or submit information directly to a third party, the relevant third-party terms and privacy practices may apply.

EDCAS is not responsible for independent third-party actions or services beyond its reasonable control, except where liability cannot lawfully be excluded.

We encourage users to review the relevant policies before sharing information or completing transactions through external services.

15. ACCOUNT SUSPENSION AND TERMINATION

EDCAS may temporarily restrict, suspend, or terminate account access where there are reasonable grounds to believe that a user has violated these Terms of Use, compromised platform security, submitted fraudulent information, or engaged in unlawful activity.

Access may also be affected by the expiry or termination of a relevant partnership arrangement.

Where appropriate, we may provide notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue before taking further action.

However, immediate action may be necessary in cases involving suspected fraud, serious security risks, legal obligations, or potential harm to students and partner institutions.

Users may request account closure by contacting the appropriate support team.

Following account closure, information will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, applicable agreements, and legal obligations.

Termination of access does not remove responsibilities or liabilities that arose before termination.

16. LIMITATION OF RESPONSIBILITY

EDCAS provides technology and operational support to assist with international student recruitment.

We take reasonable care in delivering our services, but successful recruitment outcomes depend on several factors, including student eligibility, institutional requirements, document verification, and decisions made by third parties.

We cannot guarantee admission approvals, visa outcomes, scholarship decisions, processing times, or financial returns.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, EDCAS is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from events beyond its reasonable control, including third-party admission decisions or inaccurate information submitted by users.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or restricted, including liability arising from fraud or other conduct for which the law prohibits such exclusions.

Any additional limitations or obligations contained in an applicable written agreement will be interpreted alongside these terms.

17. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

As EDCAS develops, we may update these Terms of Use to reflect changes in our services, operational requirements, or legal obligations.

The latest version will be made available through our website, together with its updated revision date.

Where changes materially affect users' rights or responsibilities, we will take reasonable steps to provide notice.

Continued use of EDCAS after revised terms become effective may constitute acceptance of those changes where permitted by law.

If you do not agree with the revised terms, you should discontinue use of the affected services and contact us regarding your account or any existing contractual commitments.

18. GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTES

Unless a separate written agreement provides otherwise, these Terms of Use are governed by the applicable laws of the United Arab Emirates.

Disputes relating to these terms that cannot be resolved through good-faith discussions will be subject to the competent courts of Dubai, United Arab Emirates, unless mandatory law requires a different forum.

We encourage users to contact our support team first so that concerns can be reviewed and, where possible, resolved fairly and promptly.
